We are an educational center in Butte Valley California,  offering classes and workshops for the community. We are proud to be a centrally located hub in Butte county for people to gather and learn about growing and preserving food, plant identification, herbal medicine, and how to care for this beautiful land and each other.

We honor the Maidu people, the original custodians of Butte Valley. We acknowledge their connection and the cultural significance of this land, which was a part of the Nome Cult Walk also known as the Konkow Trail of Tears. So much history has been suppressed and forgotten and we support the movement for education and restoration of this region.
